Medical Imaging of Baltimore (MIB) commenced operations in 1986 with five employees and one MRI scanner. The medical and patient response was overwhelming, and within a few months MIB was providing scanning services to the greater Baltimore area seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
Service beyond scanning has been our engine for growth – whether delivering films and reports to referring docs within 24 hours, customizing our protocols to meet needs of specific physician specialties, or accommodating special requests from patients or physicians. Thirty-five full and part time employees strive each day to ensure excellence in our approach and service to patients and their families. We have appointments available Monday through Saturday and we are on-call for GBMC Hospital emergencies 24/7. Our up-to-date equipment includes one high field closed and one high field open MRI scanner, a PET/CT scanner, and breast biopsy capability.

Please provide 24 hours notice if you need to change your appointment so that other patients may be accommodated. Medical Imaging of Baltimore participates with Medicare, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and most health insurance plans.
